Dill
Dill is a small-flowered herbaceous plant belonging to the Apiaceae family. In the past its seeds mixed with those of fennel were given to chew to children, so there are those who consider it the ancestor of the chewingum. Both dried seeds and leaves are used for dill, but in our country the use of this aromatic herb (which has a taste halfway between fennel and aniseed) is not very widespread as opposed to what happens in the East and other European countries.
